Shadows and Bars

Simple/Mundane/Everyday tasks like crossing/walking/traveling a street or interacting/communicating/talking to a stranger can feel overwhelming/daunting/intimidating. Still/However/Yet, there are ways/methods/strategies to rebuild/reintegrate/reconstruct your life and find/discover/locate peace/tranquility/contentment in the world beyond/past/outside the wire.

Reverberations in the Cell Block

The steel walls imprisoned the sounds of a hundred lives gone. Each rattle of a chain, every deep footstep on the concrete floor, revealed a story. Stories of regret, of anger, all overlapping in a symphony of suffering. Even in the tranquility, one could feel the presence of their stories.
